Attack on Titan Exhibition FINAL Arrives in Seoul This June
New content including original drawings and a life-size Omni-Directional Mobility Gear display to be revealed
Held at DUEX Hongdae from June 19 to November 1
“On that day, humanity remembered… the fear of being ruled by them…, and the humiliation of being trapped inside a cage…”
With powerful lines that strike from the very first page and a world beyond imagination, Attack on Titan, which captivated audiences around the world, will meet visitors in Seoul this June through a special exhibition.
Attack on Titan is a Japanese work that continues to receive renewed attention and love from fans worldwide even after the conclusion of both the manga and anime. Recently in Korea, various collaboration goods released with brands became a hot topic, and Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK has also continued the series’ popularity through theatrical re-releases in various formats such as Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and MX4D.
Amid this ongoing enthusiasm, Attack on Titan Exhibition FINAL will be held at DUEX Hongdae starting June 19. This exhibition is an upgraded version of the previous exhibition held in Korea in 2023, which drew approximately 110,000 visitors and became a major sensation, with its core content significantly expanded. New elements that were not shown previously have been added so that returning visitors can also enjoy a fresh experience.
The exhibition is composed so that visitors can experience the world of Attack on Titan in various ways through reproduced original drawings, physical exhibition pieces, video content, creator interviews, and photo zones.
Visitors will enter by choosing either “Inside the Walls” or “Outside the Walls,” and depending on their choice, they will view different introductory drawings. Following the progression of the story, visitors will be able to see approximately 200 reproduced original drawings along with exhibition pieces recreating iconic items from the series, such as the Survey Corps cloak and Mikasa’s scarf.
In addition, visitors can experience immersive battle footage using 1:5 wide-screen mapping technology and four-channel surround sound, as well as interview videos featuring honest stories from creator Hajime Isayama.
In particular, the newly upgraded elements of this exhibition are expected to strongly capture visitors’ attention. The most notable additions are the original drawing display and the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear display. An original drawing of the final scene that concluded the series will be exhibited, allowing visitors to view the one-and-only original artwork up close. In addition, a life-size Omni-Directional Mobility Gear used by the Survey Corps will also be displayed, offering an even more vivid exhibition experience.
Beyond the exhibition itself, visitors will also be able to enjoy an interactive photo zone where they can become a Titan within the wall, exhibition-exclusive goods, four-cut photos, and a collaboration café, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the world of Attack on Titan.
Tickets for Attack on Titan Exhibition FINAL will be available beginning May 13 through YES24 Ticket and Naver Reservation. From June 19 to June 21, the exhibition will operate with timed-entry sessions, while from June 22 onward it will operate with open admission.
Attack on Titan began serialization in September 2009 in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, published by Kodansha, and continued for 11 years and 7 months until April 2021, creating a worldwide phenomenon. Beginning in 2013, it was also adapted into a TV anime series and gained enormous popularity, with the final episode airing in November 2023, bringing its 10-year journey to a close. The series has been recognized for both its artistic quality and popularity and is regarded as one of the representative masterpieces of Japanese manga.
